Section 01
Responsible Gambling
Gambling can only stay entertainment while you control the money, the time and the emotions. Here's how to notice control slipping — and what to do about it.
The short version
- Only gamble with money you can afford to lose completely.
- Decide on limits before you start, never during play.
- Never chase losses.
- Don't gamble to escape stress, boredom or loneliness.
- If you recognise any warning signs, stop and talk to someone.
